Rainy Day Bull

Here is some footage of a bull we ran into during the archery elk hunt. I love chasing bulls in a light rain like this. Unfortunately, this bull was heading towards the same group of bugles that we were and we were having a hard time getting around him.

Nice video footage. Would you consider him about a 320" bull? I haven't hunted bulls much and just want to see how close I am at quick guessing. fatrooster.

Great footage. Nice to see young bulls looking healthy.

If I was judging that bull in the field for a client I'd put him at about a true 299" bull and I'd feel good.

From what I can tell he looks to be in the 300-315 range.. leaning more towards the lower end 305ish..

Nice video. I would estimate 280-285 class bull. Short tines everywhere.

LAST EDITED ON May-29-12 AT 11:36AM (MST)[p]He's a nice young bull, but I don't think he will break 300" and I'd guess he's probably about what the previous post stated. Here is one a friend got with me one night in 2009 that is similar with a little better brows than the video and he netted 285" for a P&Y Certificate.
