There has been alot of talk and alot of people asking about the fishlake. Here are some pictures of bulls we have harvested off of the fishlake unit and a few pictures of a bull i hope to kill this year. to help you muzzy guys out in my opinion that is the best hunt for hunting bulls in the rut. bad thing about the muzzy hunt is that you are limited on your range and to one shot also the bulls have been called and called and may be a little harder to bring in but if you hunt hard enough you can kill a good bull. also with as many bulls that have been being killed each year the quality has gone down but you can still kill a good bull.

Thank you for the pics any advise on the unit you would be willing to talk about would be great. I really didn't think I had a chance of drawing with 3 points but I got lucky I think. A couple of my buddies drew the unit two years ago in the archery but were unsuccessful in the unit. Thank you again for the pics

LAST EDITED ON Jun-03-12 AT 00:21AM (MST)[p]Search the archives for fishlake muzzy hunts.

Also, three points for a muzzy tag on that unit is AWESOME! Don't let others discourage you. You are in for a good time.

Thank you for sharing the pictures and talking a little about it. Cant wait for september I wish you and everyone else the best of luck this season hope you can harvest the big bull in the picture looks like a great one. I hope to help my body get the one he's always dreamed of, if not sure to make the best memories and have the time of our life. I drew archery two years ago didn't harvest but to this day remember every day... oh what fun seen some great bulls just couldn't make it happen so this time I hope we can make it happen.

Here are a couple of Fishlake bulls. There were rifle hunts. There are some great bulls there and with a little luck, you can find a smoker.

Here is my wife's bull...

Haha No...they are in his shed ,garage and house . Sorry Rick I had to spill the beans. ;-) I just left him on fish lake a couple hours ago. So if he is in his trailer tonite, he wont see this for a few days.

Hey Big John,
Don't think you've ever been to my house? so WTH?
All the bones are piled up in a stack behind the shed...maybe..
and getting whiter by the day as the beans are spilling?

HA HA The 1st 2nd and 4th pics were all taken within a mile of each other... If ya like deadfall you'll love that spot.

We've killed bulls in same area of the 1st pic and the 4th pic and brought them out whole....no deadfall there?

You are 100% correct Rick. Above the 2nd pick is the ass kicker.
I chased them in there a couple times and came out looking like I fought a bear with a willow switch.

>wouldn't go in there! at
>least more than once....

Who is sane when they are chasing some of the hogs you guys have posted? Bull fever... happens every fall, and lasts 12 months.

IMO any nice mature bull looks to be a real"smoker". Those are all nice bulls your family has gotten! Great stories I'll bet behind each one!Congrats, and thanks for posting 'em up!
