LAST EDITED ON Jun-06-12 AT 11:53PM (MST)[p] Can anybody out there tell me what the name of this Brent Todd Elk print is? I think it is Midnight something. I first seen the Original Oil about 20 years ago at Swiss Days in Midway Utah. Brent and his wife was there showing it off with alot of his other prints. I loved it! A few years later I moved and my new next door neighbor was having a yard sale. I did not see nothing worth going over to look at. But my 6 year old Daughter wanted to go look. So I let her go over and she came back and said Daddy their is an Elk Picture over there. So I went and looked and rolled up in a tube is this print. I took it out and my eyes opened wide. It was a copy of the Elk Print I seen at Swiss Days. Knowing my neighbor (Non Hunter) had no idea what he had. I asked how much for this Elk picture? He said I don't know where my ex wife got that how about Two bucks? "TWO BUCKS" I about broke a finger getting my wallet out. The white border with the name on it didn't look good with the Barn wood frame I made so I cut it off. I want to have a tag made for it but I can't remember the name of the print. Brent Todds Web site don't have any info on this print any more too old I guess. Thanks for any help

What a gorgeous print and what a find! I wish I could help you out. Maybe you could find out some info from your neighbors ex-wife?? It would be interesting to find out how she come about it. Good luck in your quest. Hope someone knows what it is for you.

The print is called December Sojourn. My son@ his wife were awarded a copy of the print in 1995 for having the National Chapter Record at the Carbon/Emery chapter. Not only is it a Todd print but i would think posibly a print that was obtained by RMEF for spec. awards.

I would agree that Brent Todd has some great work.

After I recorded over the only Bull Elk (409 6/8 gross) that my father in law (Dion Laney) shot with a bow in 2007, I had Brent Todd recreate the moment. We had video up to this point. So we froze it in time. This was the first moment that we say this monster. It moment was over in a second at the pull of the trigger release.

The rest is history.

Brent salvaged what I captured and then destroyed by recording over the kill shot. I had video on a triod and everything, Dang it...

But now, I glance at that painting everytime I go to his house.
Brent even gave me a copy. It is the pinnacle of my Father in Law hunting career. He pretty much retired with that one. It was a once in a life time moment. He hasn't taken it for granite thanks to Brent Todd image.

If you need to talk or speak with Brent Todd.

Send me a PM with phone number and I will pass it along to Brent and have him get in touch with you. I'm sure he'd love to call you.
