This is him with me holding his shed from the previous year. I picked it up while tracking him prior to shooting him.

Hopefully changes will be made for better management plan on the Kaibab, because right now the Kaibab is nothing compared to what it could be....

Jimmy
it looks like you got him at a good time if looks like he was starting to head down hill. Very nice buck Hope to draw out in the next couple of years, Maybe this year.

Well, AZ game and Fish is going to opportunity over quality, even north of the river. I don't see it ever being what it once was.

Arizona already has enough over hunted units south of the river. Really there is no reason to turn the Kaibab into one of those units..

Here's a baby from last year. Aged by G&F at 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years old. Passed up wider bucks early in the hunt but on the 2nd to last day of hunting couldn't pass him up at 35 yds.

UnoTrack, great buck. Who is your cameraman..........LOL....That was a great hunt and getting Nygaards buck the next morning was icing on the cake............fantatstic................... Thanks, Allen Taylor......

Bura:

Yah, that was a crazy 24 hrs. Here's my buck with BuraNut and guide, Mark Boulanger. Then, Dave Nygaards buck. I believe that buck was only 26" wide and grossed 198! That's an insane typical. He was killed a 1/2 mile from where I killed the E Buck, on the next morning. What a morning. Let's see if I can post two pics.

I know there is still some more hunters out there with some photos to share. If you need help posting, please ask and I bet we can help you. So, far a lot of Dandy Bucks!!

Well since Blacknight bumped the post, I couldn't resist. Here is one of my oldest son & I on his first deer hunt. 2005 Kiabab junior hunt. Just a yearling doe, but a trophy to a young boy on his first hunt none the less.

Kind of mixed emotions; As an ADA member, I fully support the lobby for reduced doe tags on the Kiabab plateau. As a father, this hunt was no doubt one of the best I have ever been on.

Hopefully someday he and I can chase some of those big bucks up there together!

That is AWESOME! I guess I have one I could post but I need one you you guys to downsize it cause the file is so large. Let me know!

Thank you mike111. Thats my daughter and her first mule deer. She took the hunter education class last year before the draw and put in for the Kaibab for the first time. She drew and the purchasing began! Anyways, I purchased this 7mm-08 Tikka T3 & Swarovski 4x10 scope. Did some reloading and off to the range we went. Got that gun sighted in within a dime at 100yrds. Her first shot opening morning and 1hr later my niece as well. This next photo I was doing some prescouting and came about 18yrds from this bedded buck! He didnt know I was there. I took this photo and some video too. I hope you enjoy!!!

Cool pic of the bedded buck Blacknight. Absolutely outstanding pic of your daughter!!! Nothing like hunting with your kids....

My next in line will turn 10 this September. I'll be putting him in for the Kiabab hunt, and with any luck he'll draw a tag and pass hunter's safety (no doubt that he'll pass the class...;-) ). Then in a couple of more years my daughter will be ten, and hopefully I'll have a pic like yours of her. So far, she has definitely shown an interest. Girls that hunt ROCK!!!!

How about some more pictures of some bucks folks?
