NM Cow tag

Does the New Mexico DNR offer any cow only hunts during the elk season? I missed the elk draw but recently arrived to Cannon AFB here in Clovis NM. I am looking to fill my freezer with meat. Had to give away almost 100lbs of venison when I left GA. I did get a tag for unit 40 for deer. looking for options.
