Drew Wrong Tag

Hello,
I am new to the State of Utah and to this site. I put in for the hunts and thought I put in for Paunsagunt Archery. I must have put the wrong hunt code down cuz I just got notice that I drew Henry Mountain Muzzleloader? Anyone familiar with this place? Is it worth the tag? Guess I'll need to learn to shoot a muzzleloader also.

Thats happend alot. The DWR is asking everyone that received this tag to return it because its not valid.

I have spent a lot of time on the henry and that tag is not worth having. be sure to send it back and tell them to give it to me.

Quick drive to Idaho and buy a loto ticket before your luck changes. Some people have been trying to draw that tag since it reopened and you did it on accident. Best unit in the state congradulations!!!

This sounds like there may be some good huntin on this place. I was looking on the map and looks like Henris is close to Powell Lake. Is there any good fishin there? I was thinking I could take my fam with me for some fishing and waterskiing and do some huntin mornings and evenings. Looking for at least a solid 4x4 150" SCI or better. Should be a good time.

Now that is a funny question I guess the bazillion people applying for the Henries can answer it I would consider it a hell of an upgrade if it is a mistake. Have you ever heard of coming out smelling like a rose? I have never checked but you may be able to hunt it with your bow. I know the rifle hunts are any weapon hunts.

lets see... conservation tags on this unit went as high as 62k for one guy to hunt there. How many gov tags and sportsmans tags came from this unit. (even last year)

If your serious in your question, you drew a WAAAAAAAAAY better tag then an archery pauns.

SmackNMuleys: The Henry's is a sleeper unit. You may want to give the DWR a call and tell them you're not interested and to get your points back. The biggest buck I've seen on that unit is only a 34" 7x8. I recall a couple years ago the DWR had a huge depredation hunt and wiped out all the animals. There still may be some pretty flowers to pick though!
