Montana Elk Unit 313-40 Advice

My Dad, Brother, and I drew 313-40 Elk hunt Unit and was looking for some starting points to go and scout. We usually hunt unit 324 but wanted to switch it up this year. I am looking at taking a scouting trip in September to learn the country but won't be able to hunt until the second week in November as I have a Late Nevada Deer Tag. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
