Colorado 3rd Season Unit 63 Muledeer

New to this forum. Enjoyed reading all the posts. Planning a hunt to Colorado's Unit 63 in November. Never hunted this unit before and was wondering if someone could give me some information on deer numbers, public vs. private, elevations deer may be during the November time period, and possibly deer quality. I've been using my points in the past for early high country hunts, but now that they moved the season to after the muzzle hunt we decided to explore our options. Thanks, Muley30

All I can say is great hunt! you will see some real big deer. Mowt likely you will be at the tree lines or lower by that time. Good luck I love that unit

Thanks Rammu. That gets my blood boiling! I take it you have hunted the unit before. Do you have any pictures of any of the deer from that unit?

azbiggame, Im not familiar with an Elk Preserve. That wouldn't be the Black Canyon Monument, would it? Thanks, muley30
