Ensign Ranches CWMU Cow tags

My daughter, her husband and I all drew CWMU cow elk tags for Ensign Ranches. I thought there was an old post regarding the property, but I could not find it. Does anyone have any experience/advice for this hunt? Any information is greatly appreciated.

my wife drew the tag as well and I just had a buddy tell me that that tag is a joke....the guys that work up there wouldnt let a hunter in last year saying the elk hadnt arrived....BS theres elk on that freaking ground all year long. I sure hope you guys as well as my wife and I dont have the same trouble. If they keep a state draw hunter off their ground they should lose all their payed tags.

Make sure you have the local GW number with you so you can call them in case of trouble like that, That is what hurts the CWMU program is places that don't follow the rules..

Don't let rumor guide your thinking. I've had public tags on the Ensign in previous years and had nothing but professional service. My son has a cow tag there this year and I'm not the least concerned.
