6x7 LE Bull

Cool bull, I would not hesitate with an archery tag. I would put him close to a 320 bull.

I'll tell you who it was . . . it was that D@MN Sasquatch!

That's a great bull, I think Kawboy must have looking at the smaller one, because he is much bigger than 320. Great beams, great tine length, and not lacking really anywhere. I would put him more in the 360+ range. I don't know many people that would pass on a bull like that.

What tag do you have if you don't mind me asking?

Nice looking bull for sure, but at it being july 28th this mature bull is done growing and will be shedding within two weeks, he is what he is.
He looks like a 340ish type of bull to me ;-)

I guessed him to be 335-340. I will post another video after work today that shows his mainbeam better. I dont think that his mainbeams are very long making his tines look longer than they really are. Kind of a compact horn configuration. I sure hope some of you guesses are closer than mine.

Nothing wrong with his main beams at all, I would bet monwey they are 48-50 inches long, which is great. His 5ths are great, 4ths pretty good, 3rds awesome and front end is also real good. I have no doubt in my mind that bull is over 350. I may have been a little high on the last guess, but there is no way he is less than 350.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-30-12 AT 03:03PM (MST)[p]Here's my Guesstimation ,and I was pretty careful. What do you guys not agree with here? I know some of you have more experience than I do scoring so criticize my numbers and tell me where I'm wrong. I want to make sure I can score accurately.

Thanks,

Matt

I just watched again, I might bump to 320 or 330, but I just don't see the bull breaking 330. His main beams are 40- 45 at best. The other estimates shown are a little longer than I would guess. But who really cares about the score. The difference between a 330 bull and a 340 bull is under an inch per tine. He is a unique bull.
I say smoke him and you let us know. I am ok with being wrong, it has happened once or twice before....... lol.

Well his main beams don't look like 50 inches to me, more like 45 or so. This bull has some pretty good width, but his rack is pretty short and compact, for the main beams that is.

That being said the he has better then average fronts, but a very average looking back end of the rack.

So I would say he is 325-335.

Still an awesome bull, and if it were me with a bow I would take any shot I could get at him.

And you would probably have to talk me out of taking a shot at him with a rifle if we were 3 - 4 days into the hunt. Not an opening morning bull, but not one to pass up if you haven't seen a whole lot else in a couple of days.

IMO
