I have used a break open .50 shooting 100-150 grains of pellets with sabots and havent had much luck finding a load that I can get to a good pattern at 200 plus yards...I have a buddy that killed a big bull at 380 with one shot but hes not a good enough buddy to share any load information...im open to buying a new muzzleloader so please share your thoughts and opinions. I hope to get a new gun and load set upo before the hunt. Thanks in advance

Throw them Pussie/wanna be Sabots away & throw a 600 Grain Slug down the Hole with 90 Grains of 3fff Black Nasty!

Then you'll have a Load Worthy of Killing a Bull!

If You Love Your Country,SHOW THEM TO ME!

I've got Wild Honey Tree's and Crazy Little Weeds growin around my Shack!
These Dusty Roads ain't streets of gold but I'm happy right where I'm at!
All these Perty little Western Belles are a Country Boys Dream!
They ain't got Wings or MM Halo's but they sure look good to me!

If you want the best look at GunWerks, if you don't have that much cash laying around, I have an Omega and shout TC Shockwaves with 100 grains and seems to do pretty good. Each gun is different though so you have got to find what you like. Timberbuck on here has a lot of good info.

We shoot 95 grns of BH209 with a Hornady solid 300 and they shoot perfect to 150. After that w/ a peep i tended to wander a bit. Without a great rest and limited wind i'd not. Check mz forum-several very helpful posters there as well.Good Luck!

Sorry, i shoot a CVA w the bergara barrel for CO and otherwise the a TC Pro-Hunter. Same BH209 powder in both with good results, just spend time going 5 gr up or down helped these 2 rifles AND considerably less clean up. Hope that helped
