LAST EDITED ON Aug-20-12 AT 03:37PM (MST)[p]My Dad has a Book Cliffs Late Bull tag this year. Per the standard MM help plea, we'll take any advice we can get. I'd love to chat with anyone who has firsthand experience on the late hunt. Please PM if you have any ideas on places we should check out that time of year. I'm sure it is weather dependent from year to year, but can you typically find good bulls at high elevations on the late hunt, or is there a distinct migration they follow? Thanks in advance!

Is it part of the roadless area or bitter creek area? And what are the season dates?

I am familiar with roadless but not bittercreek. What i do know is that by then most the elk move out of the roadless area and head toward their winter range in colorado so there should be plenty of elk would be my guess but i honestly dont know. Sorry i'm not much help.
