HAY GUYS...
I was never charged even though I was successful drawing unit 2B! So thats why I was shocked when I check on line...anyway!
I just talked to them and was told they will start running cards to night!! Just nice to know!

They do not charge deer. You just draw an authoization to buy a tag. You have to buy the tag before you go hunting.

You buy the tag at the sporting good store.

Have no idea why when it is the only drawn tag that you do it for.

Why cant these states simplify their systems?

The deer draw is sort of a legacy issue. When only part of the state was on a draw they were called deer entry permits (only cost the $6 app fee). You would buy your normal deer license at store, but if you drew an entry permit you could also hunt the limited area. Then they made it where if you drew an entry permit you could only hunt the limited area. Now all public land is on a draw, I suppose they'll eventually change it so it looks just like everything else.
