You'd think NUNYA could Chime in once in a while as well,I know damn well he ain't got a Pipe Wrench in his Hand this time of year!:D

RE: Booby prize forum needed

just one more check book bull, they all look the same, 20 coyotes around it and one check writer,,,,

RE: Booby prize forum needed

My guess would be that with all the jealousy and MB haters out there, that NUNYA and anyone else associated with MB wiil have nothing at all to say publicly, except on their website. Frankly, I don't blame them if they post nothing, including pictures.

Congratulations to Mike Gallo and MossBack Arizona on this GIANT 450+ 8 x 8

nice bull

although i appreciate much more some rag horn killed by a diy guy then some guy with deep pockets and a bunch of outfitters.

Great public land AZ bull for sure. Been a great year for sure. Can't wait for the 26th to see if there are any left for the early rifle hunt.

Couple more pics of this giant stud of a bull. Congrats to all envoled on taking this bull down.

Rumored to be killed on the reservation, but he was trading back and forth between the res and unit 1.

The bull was definitely growing and shrinking last night at a high rate of speed.

I can't even begin to express how much more impressive looking this bull is that ole "Spidey"...

This thing is a friggin giant... What do they put in the water down there..??

an official scorer for B&C green scored bull at 476 5/8" gross and 462 4/8" net. i think it might be the biggest az. bull to have ever been killed besides mike shipsey's monster off the san carlos.

all to have happen b/c a little hillbilly from springerville was out chasin bulls. unbelievable story to this.

Not jealous at all son. Just proud to see such a great bull on the ground, regardless of who shot him. I have killed plenty of enormous bulls and I just get sick of the smack about the Checkbook, etc. God bless the hunter and the guides that busted their butts to get him on the ground. For those that are jealous, buy a super raffle tag an get in the game. It is not all about the checkbook. Good job Mossback!

Roger that Rambo. Some of us are fortunate enough to be smart enough to have enough money to hire an awesome crew like Mossback. To bad I ain't one of'em. Congrats to the hunter and the Mossy Boys.

Awesome bull.

One problem though. How long were they taking pictures before they gutted the animal? The first pictures show that there is plenty of daylight left and yet as evidenced by the last pic posted so far, it is pitch black out and they still haven't gutted it. At least a few hours went by.

To me this shows a distasteful obsession with only one part of the animal, the part that is most visible and hangs on the wall, the part that should be secondary to meat.

There is nothing wrong with taking a few pics before gutting the animal, 5 minutes won't make a difference. But this looks like a full on photo shoot that lasted for hours while the entrails began to slowly rot and taint the meat around it. Well maybe he likes it that way or more likely doesn't even eat any of it.

like i said coyotes and a check writer, if you think that is real hunting i feel for you, but with names like billy the kid and ramboo , that in its self says alot.. the bull is great, the hunt is a joke.

ROTFLOL.... You are kidding, right????

The animal was gutted very careful that night and opened up. it froze overnight as well. Nothing was compromised. Meat was in meticulous condition! I can assure you every ounce of meat was taken, just ask the local butcher. The hunter was very particular about the meat and has already eaten some of it.

I found the mule deer Mike Gallo hunted a few years ago when he hunted in NM for the mule deer Governors tag. I gutted the buck for him but Mike helped de-bone it. He took all the meat home to California. He is a stand-up guy and eats everything he kills. Congrats to you Mike on one hell of a bull.

+1 elkun, couldn't agree with you more. Another big money bull down by a rich guy who probably couldn't hunt his way out of a wet paper bag. Too bad this bull wasn't killed on a D-I-Y archery hunt by one of the good ole poor boys, but that would be a totally new concept ! :)

I think I've seen that bull before!

But then again, I have been known to be a little inaccurate sometimes.

"Pics or it didn't happen!"

I'm with woodruffhunter- Nobody takes photos of the huge rump roast they just boned off their animals... And nobody mounts cow elk, or doe deer. We are obviously more impressed with the size of the elk than its inards.

Plus, what if they hadn't found it and left it over night, then found it the next morning..?? Whats the difference there..? A trophy is a trophy, and these are the last photos that will ever be of this giant in the hills. Just chill out a bit.
