I was able to help a friend with his Wasatch Rifle Elk tag this morning. What an amazing morning it was. The bulls were going crazy. They where screaming back and forth to each other. We where able to see the dominate herd bull. I knew he was a good one, so we headed his way. When we got to the top of the trees, there was two bulls screaming back and forth. We got in between them, and I started to cow call. All of a sudden the bull we were after pushed his cows right to us. They came out of the trees at about 40 yards.
All at once you could see tines bobbing through the trees. The lead cow saw something she didn't like and spooked. She only went a few yards and the bull came busting through infront of us to gather the girls up. Well it didn't Take Brent long to decide he wanted this bull. One shot and the bull hunched, he ran about 30 yards and Brent made a perfect shot. The bull collapsed. It was an amazing morning. Congrat's to you Brent.

Just being there around screaming bulls is awesome but getting to take a bull makes it even sweeter. Congrats on an awesome bull!

There's room for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potato's and gravy.

Wow Whipknot, those pictures are sweet. I Would love to see anymore you have. the guy who shot this stud bull is the owner of Sunbow meats in Lindon. he's a great guy, and really deserved this bull. Thanks again for all the pics

My friend, just had him rough scored. He checked the tape twice, and the green score came out to 350 5/8.
I know he is super stoked about him. Congrats again Brent

That's a great bull and good story Heat. Congrats. Nothing like being that close while they're screaming.

I have to agree they are very close, it could possibly be the pictures but it looks like the space between the 4th and 5th are different on the left side and different angle on the 5th and the devil point is in a bit more. great bulls none the less. Congrats to you and your buddy.

Hangingmeat & bonehead13,

It was confirmed, it's the same bull. My pics did distort him a bit. Broadfork and I have talked and exchanged pics. It was the same bull killed in the same location.

Great bull! Congratulations to the hunter!!!
