Can non-resident doe tags be purchased over the counter in WY or do you have to buy them as left over tags? Thanks.

The doe / fawn leftover lists should come out around Aug 1. The licenses will be released to license selling agents around the state and you can also purchase at least some of the tags at the Game and Fish office. You can purchase the licenses directly from the agents over the phone. Check the WY Game and Fish website often over the next few weeks.

Also, the doe tags remaining after Lefty Draw can be bought by anyone OTC as of Aug. 15. G&F will have the list up and it includes the stores where a particular area's tags are available.
Example:
If you want a doe tag for a hunt area by Sheridan, sellers in that vicinity will be listed along with how many they've got, but you won't be able to pick that tag up at any license seller in Rock Springs, or Casper, etc.
