High Uintas/region k

I am hunting private ground, that has deer in on opener of oct 1st. I am wondering if these same deer summer up high? The Uinta range is right out the backdoor, but these deer are in river bottoms as I said on season opener with no snow to push them down. Does Utah pressure move the herds down? I have seen what elk do once season starts there. I would like to hunt bow season, but not sure if I will find all the deer on Utah side? The area is close to Flaming gorge, unit 132. Any ideas on habits of these deer in this area?

Haven't hunted K but have hunted the Unitas. Thats a general season in Utah. I believe the deer you'll be hunting are resident deer.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't realize my post was worded wrong, I am hunting wyoming, wondering if deer come in from Utah or just stay there as residents. Thanks again.

Do you have any more info about the High Unitas of Utah? I will be hunting that area prior to the general season and would be appreciative of any info you are willing to pass this way. I understand there will be alot of hiking to get up into some good spots and I am game for that.
