full moon during the 2013 le elk hunt

LAST EDITED ON Oct-19-12 AT 08:49PM (MST)[p]Checked the moon phase calendar today and it looks likethe entirety of next years le elk hunt will have a very full moon. I have 16 points so I could easily draw.however, I'm a little worried how the full moon might affect the hunting. Anybody have any input? Would you maybe put in for a point next year and wait for the following year to draw. Is the moon not that big a factor and I'm a dunce for worrying about it? Any thoughts?

I hunted in Wyoming archery on Sept 16th, and helped my Dad and a partner on oct 15th this year. Both of these dates were dark of the moon, or a day after. The bulls were bugling crazy, and active most of the day.

I've always felt the moon was a huge factor but this year helped reinforce that feeling.

Full moon was during my wives LE hunt on the Muzzy, it was rough for 2-3 days but they got right back at it.
