Well, after hiking miles and miles in this unit only to see 2 elk im in need of some help. The archery season was a bust to say the least, never heard any elk bugling and never ran into a herd, took alot of blind walks only to call 2 bulls in durring the archery hunt. Im not looking for a trophy, but its time to fill the tag now that rifle season is here. does anyone have any tips or pointers where a guy can run into some elk on the unit, finding sign was the toughest thing about the unit simply because there was half a bazillion head of cattle up there all summer and most of fall. Thanks for the help ahead of time. if you are wondering where ive hunted its been everything north of warren.
