FWIW - this is a pretty cool NOAA website that tracks rainfall data. The unit I will be hunting in CO this fall is below normal rainfall, but not by much. I suppose rainfall this late in the season won't help antler growth much.

We don't have rainfall problems in my part of the world [S.E. Alaska.] This was the blacktail my son shoot this weekend. I survived the 2,500 vertical and 5 or 6 miles in the sweltering Alaska heat (all of 70 degrees)
Some darn good backstrap off the Bar-B last night.
