elkassassin, of course he had to wear white camol , do you see a gun in that picture, he used his bare hands,,,

According to their website they also sell Manitoban Elk hunts. Which to my knowledge are an extinct subspecies of elk. Scientists believe Manitoban Elk may have possibly bred with RM elk, but I didn't think there are any "pure" Minitobans left.

This is from their website....speacial order bucks???? and then it isn't a trophy until its 200"+...WTF? $24k for a whitetail in a fence? I'd much rather do a sheep, caribou, grizzly combo hunt for that price...

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

Oh man... I thought this was going to be a post about my favoite cold beverage!! Oh well... I guess I'll just have to go make myself a White Russian.

Neat looking critter by the way.

Greg Krogh guided a guy two years ago that took a 370 class white elk in NV. There was an photo essay about the bull in Elk Hunter Magazine. I have also seen one glassing in that same unit in NV. No fence though.

In a 240 acre enclosed area of course you will be up close and personal to the game. I wonder if people that go there actually understand what a small cage that is.

I like how it says that the hunt is challenging and is in a "fair chase" environment, all in the same paragraph where it says that it's 240 acres.

Pretty looking Bull, Out in the wild that woul;d be a awesome sight, behind a fence not so much.
