I just received a Fedex envelope with the Eastern WA Deer Raffle Tag. The WDFW actually called me Thursday but I did not believe them, I thought it was one of my "friends" playing a joke on me. I'm starting to feel the pressure already of living up to last years effort. I will accept any advice, help, contacts, etc to make the best of this opportunity. Hunting season starts next Sat, I will be spending that weekend in the Desert Unit.

Cool, have fun with that tag, it is a good one to have. Don't overlook the NE corner of the state, although the desert unit is a good starting point.

Not sure that Sam 04, Dreu 05 or Mike 06 would appreciate it. I think that some of Mike's pics have already been posted.
You don't need a raffle tag to take a good buck. The High Hunt and General Season produces some 180's for those guys that are willing to work for them.
