Been a long time lurker here but finally decided it was time to start posting. I drew a late archery season tag (11/30 to 12/8) for the Entiat. Heard lots of good things about the unit and I am really excited to spend the week hunting for a true trophy.
I would appreciate any insight anyone who has hunted the unit the past few years about general areas to hunt and suggested tactics or strategies. I am hoping that I can find some areas to get away from possible crowds to up my chances for success. I have done some searches on the forums and have noted a few spots to consider.
Also any insight to what I can expect for animal quality and hunt conditions would also be appreciated. Been archery hunting now for nearly 20 years and I am really excited about drawing what looks to be a great archery mule deer tag for WA.
