Colorado 7 points best bull any Weapon?

Probably the best nickel you could spend would be to join hunterstrailhead. Has been free up to this point, but should be worth the price

venor, ergo sum (I hunt, therefore I am)

I also have eight points and I am wondering the same thing. One thing for sure I am not waiting to draw the premo tags in the north west corner, I'm ready to go hunt, not wait 10 more years!

Actually due to point creep, you're 50-60 years away from drawing a tag in 2, 10, or 201 via preference.

My suggestion is blow your points on a 0-3 point unit, learn it well, then hunt the unit again every few years.

Plus 1 sticksender. I have 17 points and would still be out 25-30 years for them units. I'm having a hard time just trying to catch up with 61 to have a good hunt and then start muzzleloader elk hunting Colorado every 3-5 years.

Plus one on huntertrailhead - it will paint you a picture of where you are and what you can draw now or in the near future!!!

I burned my 16 PP's last year. My birthdays were happening faster than my opportunities for drawing. I am finally and happily out of the point creep.

what hunt did you use the 16 points on?
Was it worth the long wait.
Stuck in no man's land with 14 points...

DB&B's thought you were going to use your points in 76???

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

Point creep is killing me and a lot of others...
Took 15 for the muzz hunt in 76
I have 14 and may be a few years away???

Looking for a fun muzzy elk hunt for the wife with 5 points.

Looking at 80/81 which takes 4 plus points or 501 whick takes 4 plus.
Any one hunt unit 501.
Has less archery hunters than 81 and is on the draw too for archery?.
Thanks...

I followed many others with my last year's draw. I finally realized that with my age creep, it was impossible for me to ever draw Unit 2, etc. for anything. I tried for a Unit 61 1st rifle the year before, but the PP creep was too fast for me. That is when I decided to dump and run.

This dump and run is what is affecting so many folks in the 8-12 PP range. They are in a "no man's land" that may take another 8-10 or even more years to dig out of.

My Son who is 44 years old is sitting on 10 PP's, and he is dumping this year. If enough folks with more PP's decided to dump, he may not draw a 5 point unit with 10 points.
