Here are the two bucks I'd like to kill with my bow, but no luck yet. What do you guys think of these bucks? Which would you guys shoot if both were standing broadside at 20 yards?

The narrow buck has long tines, but is only about 20-22 inches wide. The wide buck is wide, I think 28-30, but just a 3x3. Both have outsmarted me so far.

Let's hook up and I'll get you in on that wide one. I'll take the leftovers. :)

Very nice bucks - both of them. I'd probably go for the narrow one with long tines, but that's just me. The narrow one sure does look to have long beams. Must be nice having to make tough decisions like that.

Hey Brian; are you hunting in Central Washington??? Those bucks look identical to the two I have been chasing. This 3 Pt i've been close to killing has one eyeguard and as of three days ago still had all its velvet. Just wondering if were trying to kill the same bucks. If so you can take the one that scores better. JK.

Hey guys which one would score better?

Brian, seriously either one. Are you chasing these in Utard or Wyo? How do you always draw Wyo? Enquiring minds want to know! Ha. Good luck this year.

BOHNTR, I could use a few pointers. You know how to kill'um with a bow!

It would be cool to get a good shot at either buck.

That longtined buck has a little 1-inch cheater plus a 2-3 inch claw on the his right beam. "I THINK" he's pushing 190 with the extra 3 inches. What do you guys think? His lines looked to be about 11 inches....all of them!

I still rather arrow the wide one. When I spotted him again last night I just sat there staring....forgot that I needed to be making an ambush plan. Didn't see him this morning.
A "REAL" bowhunter would probably still be up there I guess.

I usually always go after width, but this one is a tough call...after a lot of thought and consideration, I would suggest that you SHOOT EITHER ONE OF THEM BUCKS! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?
HEHE Good luck Boss...
P.s. I think the narrow one will score better.

Which ever one presented me with the best shot.....screw that, take the narrow tall one, you know he scores more.....not that it matters;)

I would take the tall narrow one. Its not very often you see deep forks like that. Just my opinion. Like COLO3D said he'll score better. I also think the tall narrow one would make a better looking mount, that is if you can get him. Good luck on them and your wyoming hunt.

I would prefer the tall narrow Buck, but would obviously shoot the first one that presented itself.

the tall buck all the way..that thing is ridiculous!! That 3 point is nice though..

I would definately take the tall narrow buck. I have always thought width was a little over rated.

Just to be different I'd take the wide one. But they'd have to be identical shots. Otherwise I'd take the best shot. Hopefully you got one of them down by now.
