Well they are already here and have been for a while, but few and far between. My buddy's friend has one that winters in his yard all winter in the Heber Valley. Also, there has been a couple seen up on Deseret and i have some sheds off one just west of Evanston on the Ensign Ranches.
I put a post about whitetails in the "utah" section that's still up if your interested in reading what everyone has written about them. Seems they aren't quite as rare as i thought!

Question is can you harvest them anytime you want? seeing is how the state doesnt have a management plan for them?

Feel free to harvest, your tag says "BUCK DEER". There has been 3 or 4 killed up here in cache valley over the years. Makes the papers each time, nothing big killed yet, just little forkies......"4 pointers" i guess, eastern rules and all.......

like STEELIE said, your tag say's BUCK DEER so you can use it on a whitetail if you want, I have not seen on in season yet but when I do I'll drop it and let a mulie live anouther year.

Utah will not let you just shoot one at any time, as they are managed under deer. Just like other have posted your tag is for a buck deer.. you can only harvest one when the season is open and you have a tag for buck deer if its a buck or doe deer if its a doe...

P.S so what is this one in the video a muley a whitetail or a highbreed thanks

When where they seen on deseret? Who saw them and where?

Well it looks like a whitey for sure when you look at just his antlers. Wish there was more video of his tail, and other body features. That is the only real way to tell. Could be a hybrid. Need more evidence.
