My brother and I will be heading out the day before the opener for the long hike to the top of the Rubies. Any other MMers draw this tag?

I'm jeleous!! I hunted area 10 for nine seasons in the 70's and we had some of the best hunts of my life during those years... Great country. We always hunted in the Secret Pass area in the East Humbolts, Where are you guy's going in at? I hunted both early and late but I always prefered the late hunts in November as a couple of times we were there when the deer started to migrate through the valley... Quite thing to see. I wish you and your brother good luck.. You guy's should do well. I will be hunting in South Dakota for mulies in mid November. Never been there before so I'm getting anxious..

Yup i got the same tag. I dont know when ill be going out yet since i got a cow elk tag for 081, and my dad has an area 6 deer tag. I know im going for the cow elk first though. good luck on your hunt.

I'm leaving Friday to start packin horse feed and my camp in. I'll be staying the entire two weeks, unless something huge jumps out the first day.

Good luck guys. I love I that country and although I have whats considered a better tag, I want to hunt 10 as many times as I can till can't physically do it anymore. Awesome country, and deer.
