Thanks for the comments guy's. Thats all the assurance I needed. He's heading to my taxidermist this weekend. I've hunted this unit for 13 years(it's my home town zone), my dad and friends dad's have hunted it for 30-40+ years and everyone says the same thing....not too many of them around. I was kind of second guessing myself with all the giant deer being taken these days but screw it! I have hiked my A$$ off for the last 13 years and I've only dreamed of seeing a buck like this. Every year same old thing...holding out till the last weekend and taking home a meat buck. Not that that's a bad thing, I have some great memories and would'nt trade it for the world. But the best part is how proud my grandfather and dad are. I just hope some day I'll be able to pass on this gift to my children. For what it's worth...I know hunting is just a hobby to some guy's but for myself and my family it's our way of life and our HERITAGE, I know most MM members feel the same way.
