Here is another herd on the south side of the same mountain.
Look at the shadows of legs and necks.
Google Maps is not clear in the same spot.

Elk don't hang out on the same hillside all day every day. Do you think it's possible that Bing and Google didn't take the satellite image at the same exact second? It's not live, you know that right? You can see rocks smaller than the elk on both maps proving that they were taken at different times.

If I zoom in on my house, my jeep Cherokee is still sitting in my driveway and I sold it 4 years ago.

The pictures are taken from Satellites at different times, and they are constantly updating the imagery. On google earth it will tell you date the images were taken, and you could move a couple of miles in one direction and the image can be from a different year. So what if Bing has it and Google doesn't, you know the elk are in the area. You need understand how technology works.

I could be wrong but I think the original poster was just posting something he thoughts was cool. Not thinking he's viewing a live feed or anything else like that it was taken yesterday. I think it's way cool that elk were picked up here. Thanks for sharing!

WHAT? IT'S NOT LIVE? No wonder I never kill anything. I've got to get away from this damn computer!

PS; Pretty cool you can actually see elk in some of the photos.
Now if only I could get a peek at the neighbor..... lol
