I know the 2013 season hasn't even started but I am trying to put together a trip for a couple of my uncles and myself. I live in NM so I have way better chance and cheaper than them to draw a tag. They have been wanting to go elk hunting and since I am stationed here in NM this gives them more of a reason to head out west. I was thinking that Colorado would be our best option for all of us to get together and hunt. We could all buy over the counter tags and I would take care of the camper since they will be driving from VA. What would be a good area to try and look at for a over the counter unit for Colorado? We would be rifle hunting and they are up there in years so the easier the terrain the better. I would tell them to bring their quads to make it a little easier. Thanks for the help.
