I am new to this site and wanted to get this out there, I am 45 years old and have been diagnosed with terminal cancer. I was lucky enough to draw the nebo archery elk tag this year and I am very excited to hunt beings how it may be my last. I have hunted in the same spot on the nebo for 23 years now and when i found out that i drew the tag i started prepping the area where i have hunted over a wallow for the last 23 years. I hung my tree stand, trimmed some shooting lanes and hung a trail cam. I have been puting in a ton of work to scout this area and when i went up to check my cam last weekend i had a pic of two guys on my camera, they spent over an hour in messing around next to the wallow and messing with my stuff, after they were finished they walked over to my camera, flipped it off and then turned it off! I will be posting the pics of the these two guys and would like to get others opinions on people messing with others things.
Thanks and best of luck to you all!!

Terribly sorry to hear of your situation. If you go to the general hunting forum you will see that trail cams have been an extremely hot topic on this site. Unfortunately, a vast majority of guys on here have no pitty for anybody that has a cam tampered with, stolen or destroyed. There's even been some real low life POS' that will admit to destroying cams if they see them. I guess people weren't raised the same way we were. If its not yours keep your damn hands off of it. I would love to catch somebody in the act and watch their smiles turn upside down. Now that you've had the trail cam set back, if you could use any help spotting or whatever just let me know. I would be more than willing to do some glassing for you on my days off( not implying you can't do it yourself, just offering ). Good luck on your hunt. Stay strong. Hope you smoke a bruiser.

That sucks about your cancer. I can really empathize with you though. My wife has been battling a brain tumor for the past 18 months. Thankfully though she is still alive. Hang in there and keep fighting.
As for your trail cam, I'm getting sick and tired of hearing about the classless, low-life hunters that mess with other people's stuff. Even if you don't like that type of hunting, leave your damn hands off somebody else's gear! If I were hunting that unit, I would totally help you out. I have my tag for the Wasatch unit though. Best of luck in your hunt. Hopefully it's an awesome, successful experience for you.

Shoot a big bull this year then beat cancer. I have a friend that was diagnosed with terminal cancer 12 years ago he's still hunting. We all have something terminal when we're born just a matter of when. Best of luck to you I'd post the pictures if nothing else it might slow those two jerks from doing it again.

Post them up.
