So whats the real story. A friend of mine sent me a link to a ebay auction showing "fresh sheds" from this season. I hunt several states each year and have yet to see elk and deer dropping antlers this early. Am I missing something here? Are they really dropping this time of year and I just have never noticed before or is something else going on? Please enlighten me.............rf

No, they're not dropping this early. I'll bet when they say "fresh", they mean browns that were picked up this spring and were freshly dropped when they picked them up. I can see how that would be misleading though.
