Had a great hunt with friends and family. Did alot of scouting and shooting this year. I was looking for a wide buck, but just couldn't keep my finger off the trigger when I seen how heavy this dude was. I was able to make a good double lung shot on this old brute but he still went over 200 yards before piling up. He must have been a tough bugger as his right eye was gouged out from fighting or some other injury. This was the biggest bodied buck I have ever seen on the hoof. We etimated his live weight to be around 280-290 lbs. I am grateful to be able to hunt these amazing animals.
