I have a real hard time buying EHD. Just does not seem right.

I am wondering if it is more like the poisoning issue they had in WY a few years ago.

I didn't realize elk got EHD. We had a terrible outbreak of it on deer. The smell of dead deer in the hills last year in early September was terrible. State biologists said the drought caused one of the largest die offs ever of whitetails and Mule deer in central Ne.. Pockets of the outbreak where the biologists estimated 90 percent mortality, they die quickly. A freeze kills the gnats and ends the outbreak.
