Thanks guys ill get a full story up when I get home. I spotted him the day before the season opened and finally slid an arrow into him at 54 yards on day the 16th day . We had a few close encounters with him and another comparable bull. It all came together on Sunday night 30 minutes b4 dark when he bugled a half mile below us. From there it's was a foot race to beat him to the water hole we figured he was headed to. A quick stalk put me at the water just as he was headed out. A 54 yard quartering shot to the lungs put him down in under 100 yards as he tipped over in plain sight. Taped him out at 363 3/8. A true trophy!! I'm a nonresident from Wisconsin. I did it 100% DIY and couldn't be prouder of him I defiantly got my money's worth 16 days of hard hunting plus 4 days of scouting!

I ran into another guy from Wisconsin who nailed a smoker on the Fishlake... Early the first morning he hunted, the herd walked right to him...bull came by at 8 yards........ 360ish bull..

I have a good friend from Wisconsin who lives here in Utard land now and from his hunting yarns it sounds like they are used to those close encounters with all of the hardwoods back there! Congrats to both hunters!

Was the guy on the fish lake hunting with a longbow? If it is he's a very experienced bow hunter, shot a buffalo on the henries with a longbow last year.
