Fishlake late season Limited Entry Elk hunting

I have a late season (11/9 - 11/17)Plateau/Fishlake/Thousand Lakes Limited Entry Bull Elk tag from the Western Sporting Expo drawing. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on areas to try? I've been trying to get a hold of the DWR biologist over that area but haven't had any luck. I need to make a few trips down there to get familar with the areas I plan to hunt and would appreciate any help you have to offer. Thanks

I won that tag a few years back. It can be a very frustrating hunt and a lot will depend on weather. A lot depends on how big of a bull you will be happy with, and how hard you are willing to work. Where are you from?
We will be hunting the whole season up there until we kill, so keep in touch with me..

Thanks a*r, I'll definitely stay in touch. I live in Farmington and plan on hunting the whole season until I fill my tag. A co-worker of mine that has hunted the area will also be trying to fill his tag on this hunt but may not be able to spend much time there so he will be limited on offering me help.
