LAST EDITED ON Sep-14-13 AT 12:16PM (MST)[p]Dad has been hunting this bull "Stacks" since opening day and finally was able to connect on him yesterday. It is a 7x8. Had a lot of help from good friends and family. I was able to go opening week but was unfortunately unable to go this go around when he killed it but im way excited for him. This is by far the biggest bull he has ever killed and probably will ever kill! It is a very frustrating bow hunt because there is no cover to sneak in but he kept with it and sealed the deal!

Remington, tell your father congrats. What a stud and wow for that unit. Uncle Bob sent me pictures a day or two ago and was hoping to see it posted. You both have started off well with the bows this year with stud animals..

LAST EDITED ON Sep-14-13 AT 11:08PM (MST)[p]Thanks everyone. We had a ton of fun watching this bull the last couple of months. Got a lot of video and pics, and was very fortunate to harvest him. The terrain is extremely hard to bowhunt, but had to try and fortunately lucked out.

That monster just isn't going to fit in the house!
Awesome bull!
Congratulations to Mark!
It also appears that Remmy is pretty proud of the old man...and rightfully so!
Way to go men.

MiddleFork. We watched this bull's patterns for 2 months prior to the hunt. He would almost always bed down in a 10 foot deep wash. If I couldn't be there, my good friend would watch him. When the hunt started, I was able to make several failed stalks on him. On Friday the 13th, it all came together. I got in a spot for an ambush, and with alot of luck, Stacks and his harem of 42 cows came by where I was laying in wait. So with perserverance and alot of luck, it paid off in a big way. Oh, and I will definitely need a new room off the back of the house. His chest would be resting on the floor so his horns wouldn't hit the ceiling. LOL

Congrats again and what a STUD, and yes I'm talking about both Mark and the bull. Way to do it right and getting it done!!!
