I'm down here on the pauns right now helping my friend on the muzzy elk. We were into elk all summer and bow season. But since the rifle hunt ended, we haven't seen or heard an elk. We've been on the plateau by the lake. But we are thinking about going south to the Glendale bench area. Any help would be great. Any bull will do. Thanks.

A couple thoughts, I've spent alot of time there,

1}Kanab Creek, halfway up, then up the east fork,in the pines.
OR inbetween the pinkcliff overlook and the Millcreek trailhead.

2) If you drop below the pinks, I'd hit Timber mountain area.
If you can find tracks in the sand, there's a few bulls there.

"Landon, I agree with Goofy, look in Skoutampah Pasture and Timber Mt. I have seen elk in there this time of year..." roperit knows!

If they're still high, look east of the Loop Road in the timber. Also on top, west of the pink ridge at the far east end of Blubber, out on the humps to the west of the ridge.

Whiteman Bench holds elk but you've probably been there already if your hunting around the lake.

Success.

Go on the dirt road from Glendale until you get to the Alton junction. Hunt northeast and you will find your elk.
