2013 LE Rifle Hunt

Just thought I would share some pictures of my Elk Hunt. It was a tough hunt, not seeing many elk in the areas we would normally find them. My dad and I were out on the hills everyday, found this bull on Thursday, and it all came together two days later on the second to last day!

Nice Bull, That looks like a good hike out. Finding them is only a small part of the hunt, it finding them again and in range that is the hardest part. You guys did good.

Thanks guys, yes it was a good hike out,but with a bull on my back it was all downhill. I was very happy to tag this bull after the 7 days of hard hunting.I knew this was my chance, so I went for it , and as my dad says persistannce pays off and it paid! My first elk! Big thanks to my cousin and dad for coming to the rescue!
