LAST EDITED ON Oct-29-07 AT 03:07PM (MST)[p]Received this in an email. I believe it was killed in Eastern Colorado. The kid that killed shot it with his 240 weatherby mag. The email indicated a score of 265" gross and 259 2/8" net! It was killed yesterday (10/28/07) morning.

What a buck!

Way to go whoever ya are kid !!! I know how bad I was shaking on my first buck and I wasnt looking at anything close to that buck. Yikes !!! Very nice!!!

Awesome buck! The kid will have a tough time topping that one but, fortunately he is young and will have many years to try and improve on this wonderful feat.
With that being said....I can't seem to come up with 265". Can any of you pros here on MM enlighten me on this. I'am not taking anything away from the kid and his father..my ridiculous numbers do not add up. Help please.

I'm sorry but that kid will have a better chance at hitting the lottery then to top that buck.

alright, i have been a lurker on this site for years now and this post made me finally sign up. i live and archery hunt in eastern CO. 2 weeks ago i saw a mulie from a mile away. hard to tell from that distance, but i had the spotting scope on him and it looked really similar to that. tried 3 hours to sneak up on him and no luck. archery closed for rifle season and i know there is an outfitter on that land.
i need to know if that was the one i saw. anybody with any info please lets hear it.
co rifle hunters have to wear orange maybe they took it off for the pic?
did the email have anymore info?

no matter what congrads to the kid
