Anybody see any big deers over the weekend? I saw about 70 does opening day and a pretty good sized 2x3. snuck up about 50 yards. too small for me though. The next day I saw more does and a small fork horn where I've seen a buck with spreads easily reaching close to 40 inches past couple years. Last year I came up on him bedded and he jumped up and got his antlers stuck in the trees and just ripped them down. Bigger than the buck I filmed on this forum labeled Monster Kaibab Mule Deer. I saw a big 4x4 sunday afternoon at the usual bedding area where they bed, but missed him with my 270 from about 70 yds and around the hill was a monster 5x5 HUGE! and shot at him about the same distance and missed again. I guess cruising around with a gun mounted on my fourtrack for three days will screw up the sighting bad. Going back up Thurs. Gonna look for that 5x5 again. Taking my Digital camera this time and will be back with pics
