A budy and I still had tags left for mule deer in the central part of Idaho. We hunted hard through out the season. But with the season winding down we both filled our tags within a couple minutes apart. The one I took was a huge body 3pt. Well over 300 lbs. Seen bigger bucks in the canyon, but I liked this one.
A couple of minutes later my budy took this nice 5x6 with lots of caracter.
Sure was a fun hunt. Seen lots of deer. Sometimes over 300 a day,even with the rut started, seen mostly big 3 pts. I know there were bigger ones around, just didn't have a chance at harvesting them. Like I said, it was a blast.
