It has started. Up last weekend and the big bucks had their noses following the does. May not be in full swing, but it has definitely started.

It's starting up. I seen a good buck chasing a doe in the big city last night! No hunting, off limits, industrial area.

I've been out everyday for 2 weeks. I have not seen a deer. I think that all the bucks are gone. This has been the worst year hunting. I did not see a buck on the archery hunt worth shooting. Missed the Muzz Hunt(work), and the rifle hunt was a complete bust. My brother in law went out on the muzzy hunt and did'nt dare pull the trigger on a 27 in. 4 point at 40 yards. He said too much snow.(lame exuse). Pheasant hunt was a bust. Usually we limit out 5 people in the fisrt hour or two. Not A Single Rooster this year.(whats up with that).
But as far as deer, I will be out this saturday chaising sounds in the forest. Because there are NO DEER in Utah!!!!!

Robiland, I hope you're kidding or maybe your legally blind because I've only hunted the front a couple of days since the rifle hunt ended and I have saw close to 100 deer, and some nice bucks too. Yes they are hearded up and yes the big bucks are moving in to kick out the little guys. I got within 150 yards of a monster but could not figure out how to get any closer due to the dry ground/vegetation. 15 deer in the herd, too many eyes ears and noses. Will try again this saturday on the same herd.

The bucks down here in started about 2 days ago. I have seen several rubs as well as 4 different bucks chasing does. So my bet is they are rutting in Utah.
