Colorado Buck

I was able to get a decent buck for the area I drew in Colorado. I felt pretty lucky considering I had never been in the area before nor had too many leads on good bucks. I had seen bigger bucks before the season but did not have much luck during the season. I just couldn't pass this buck after hiking and glassing all day and not even seeing much of anything. For the evening hunt we set and watched a draw where I had seen a 175 inch buck while scouting and right at dark this guy came out and gave me a 150 yard shot. He is 23 inches wide and I am quite happy for a unit I drew without any points. Sorry the field photos turned out so fuzzy. The ones in the backyard with my daughter were better.

Enjoy,

Fuzzy

Great buck and congratulations on doing it yourself. Feels better than having someone put x's on a map for you!

By the way,
I live in UT.
There are a lot of UTARDS that live here.
I have also seen quite a few WYOMORONS, NEVADUHNS, COLORADORKS, ID-IOTS and AIRHEADZONANS in my travels.
