This is my 07 Az buck I killed on the 5th day after passing on him two times before. He is a 25" wide 3x3 with big browtines. I will admit that he fooled me prety bad, I thought he was about 27 to 28 wide because he was 2 to 3 inchs outside his ears on both sides, and he had a huge body on him. But I am very happy with him ether way, I think he will look good mounted next to my 06 buck witch is a 3 point that forks in the back instead of the front.

He was a very heavy buck and I had a hard time loading him in the truck by my self.

Me and my buddy adam found this shed that if you doubled it and gave him a 25" inside spread would score right at 190. Maybe I will find him next year.

Nice buck. He does look wider in the first photo. The shed is nice too. Congrats and thanks for posting.

What did his ears actually measure then? Just curious.

This is my post

I've just pissed in my pants.......and nobody can do anything about it.

Does look wider, you should have told us 28", no one really knows the difference around here anyways, nice buck though!

Are you calling me a liar.

Old_Man_, I never did measure the ears, but I know they didnt look small, and he was an older buck, so I dont know where I went wrong. I'm usualy a litte better at judgeing them, and I've never over judged one.

I love big 3 pointers. There is something about those extra long G-2's. That is a hellova buck JakeH. Tricked or not, you made the right decision to harvest that deer. Congrats!
