Here's a few pics of our hunt this past week of nice bucks we saw. We were a little discouraged not seeing any "monsters" but these were some of the better buck we saw throughout the week.
A lot of these big deer would bed in the foothills and washes throughout the day and feed in these fields early and late. It was fun trying to set up on where we thought they would be as they would head back to public ground.
Next year they should all be there!
Here's a front view of the same deer. He had a big 2-point side and was only about 20" wide but heavy.
He had long beams but no brow tines and just needs a year or so.
He looked really good from a mile away but when we got in closer he wasn't quite there.
Young ones never learn! Note: 300 RUMs are a bit excessive on yotes!
