Question of the day......

Here are a couple bulls from our Photo Tours section of the site that Peter Eades photographed. Which would you rather take? #1 or #2

I'm a novice at elk scoring, so what do you guys think they'd each score?

I love the character of bull #2, but the main beam length on bull #1 looks to be longer. It would be a really tough decision if they were together and had to choose between the two. Both are awesome bulls, but I think I would shoot bull #1.

#2. I just like his color, character and some mass. The other bull is very thin with nothing special. Just my preference.

Even with the stunted fronts- I'd guess the top guy to be approaching 350. The bottom one is a giant! I'd guess him close to 380 gross. Net scores on both would take a beating but who cares. Great photos.

it would be tough, but # 1 for me, he is wider and longer, I like his wide frame and pretty color

It is definitly jacked. It comes out forward from the front of his head then goes back.

Both are great bulls but assuming I'd be hunting in a premium unit to be picking over bulls like this, I'd pass on both. Not because of score but because neither has the "it" factor for me.

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

#1 for me like his 3rds. That left side got some good webbing. Yep would send a lead pellet his way.

The first one I saw!!!

Government doesn't fix anything and has spent trillions proving it!!!
Let's face it...After Monday and Tuesday, even the calender says WTF!

#2 Both Studs. Love the Extras. Hard to pass a giant Typ if he compares to a non typ though.

Tough choice. Probably #2 with the character. #1 is a nice bull too, but I don't think either one would score that well. The fronts on #1 look kind of weak. Same on #2 and he seems to have some shorter main beams. I put them both around 320.
