1st archery deer

This is my first post on MMwebsite but I was super proud to have harvested this buck during the extended Wasatch front archery hunt. What a rush shooting a big deer like that with my bow.

Thanks for the support guys it was an awesome hunt. I have been hunting the same area along the Wasatch front with my bow for the last five years and never taken a deer. I just couldn't ever get close enough. This year a stuck up tree stand and it was just a matter of time. I knew there was a couple of good bucks in the area that I had scouted through out the summer. The evening I shoot this dandy I was sitting in my stand rattling for about an hour when I a had a little two walk about 30 yards to my left. While I was watching him in one direction my perrif caught just a little movement. I shifted my eyes to see this guy standing twenty yards right below. What a rush I didn't even have to second guess. It was awesome. Shooting a sweet deer like this with your bow can't be beat. I never saw a single doe the entire night.
