My dad should have enough pts to draw either and I was curious what you guys thought. He harvested a nice bull an monroe in 2000 and was hoping to do it again but his age is catching up and he dont want to wait. He can get around pretty good but has a problem with long steep hikes. I know thats elk hunting but just trying to get him out for one more good hunt. I have had a little experience on FL but that was in 05 on the late hunt and have not spent anytime on wasatch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depends what your looking for. I'd say the trophy potential might be a little better at Fish Lake. Wasatch has plenty of elk. Both have their steep areas. I feel like Fish Lake has areas that might be a little less steep of a hike during the archery hunt at least.

he shot a 350 bull back in 2000 on Monroe with his bow so I don't think he really cares if he shoot another 350. I just want him to have a good hunt with as much action as possible. I think he would be tickled to death if you could harvest a 300-310 bull but I don't think he has to really get anything. It's more or less the action and the opportunity to have taken one if he wanted to so quality is not a huge issue. he can sit all day long it is just getting to where he needs to sit is the problem he has.
