This was a great weekend for myself my son and 2 friends.
several days of hunting hard.
My buck the nontypical rough green about 177 im not an official by any stretch
my buddies typical rough green at 170.
My other friend shot his first bear and first deer ever
great shots on both and got the deer in the last 15 min of shooting light on the last day of the season.

my boy shot a tweety bird so we all bagged something.
good times great memories and some steaks and bone to remember it all

these are from the october season last weekend.
they all had bark and pitch on the base of their horns
mine had several sage brush and small trees ripped up around his bed. pretty narly bases, his brow tines are like arrow heads with stickers off the back.

Not bad for a weekends work Bonefreak. Not often you see 3 deer, a bear and a tweety bird all in the same photo. What did the tweety bird score and if you don't mind sharing some information about the tweety hunt- over seed? BB gun or slingshot? Wingspan etc....

my son is 5 in the photo [6 now] and he trompted up and down hills with me that the other two buddies wouldnt. i was pretty impressed. he was packing his bb gun the whole time letting me know when he saw anything moving, and thinking he could shoot a crow across a canyon with it

.
anyway he shot the tweety bird with the last bb in his gun. i was up helping pack out the bear when he shot it with one of my buddies.
